Refund Policy
Every effort is made to ensure that all plants supplied by RELIABLE ROSES are of good quality, correct variety, and of accurate description, at the time of sale. All plants are handled, pruned, conditioned and packed by the owner alone – no machinery is used at any time that might cause damage, and plants are never allowed to be out of water at any stage.
We take absolute personal care with all aspects of the packing process and once your parcel leaves Silvan Post Office, Silvan, Victoria, we advise you of the Australia Post tracking number to allow you to track your parcel’s progress in a timely fashion. Please contact your local Post Office if you are concerned about any undue delay and please telephone us to confirm your parcel left Silvan P.O. on the “shipping date” advised on your Tax Invoice.
As you are aware, plants are a perishable, living product and can be affected by various situations beyond our control once they leave our care. Therefore, we cannot automatically accept responsibility for how the plants perform (particularly if they have been eaten by possums and other critters). We advise that our Species and Old -Fashioned Roses are generally large and sturdy and we will never post a plant that is inferior. However, if your plant does not perform to your satisfaction, please always contact us to discuss any concerns as we are always willing to listen and try to assist you.
If you believe a plant provided is an incorrect cultivar, please telephone or email us to discuss the problem. We will check our nursery records, any photographs you send, and hopefully identify if an error has occurred. If the cultivar is indeed incorrect, we will always apologise, provide a free replacement, or if that cultivar has since sold out, we will offer you another replacement rose of your choice, or a refund if you prefer.
A note on images and descriptions
While we make every effort to accurately describe our products and reproduce the correct colour in images, these images and descriptions are to be used as a guide only. Flowering and growth of your plants may be affected by environmental factors (seasons, soil, position in the garden, sunny or shady aspect, fertilisers, weather etc.), causing variation from that depicted in our images or descriptions. Additionally, colour reproduction can vary depending on the screen used to view images, and printing quality can similarly vary.
