Our Purpose
Reliable Roses has since 1976, continued to propagate, grow, promote and offer roses from our unique and beautiful collection which roses once graced the gardens of centuries past. Sadly, time, changing fashions and taste (“new” often considered best and in demand), and severe weather conditions etc. have all taken their toll on the Queen of Flowers.
Reliable Roses is therefore privileged to offer you some of our favourite Old-Fashioned Roses. Once grown in Georgian and Regency gardens, Early Victorian and Late Victorian gardens, and Edwardian gardens, these charming and fragrant roses have survived to the present probably due to their hardiness and popularity. With your support, we hope to make these rarest of treasures available for your enjoyment and pleasure (as they were for artists, writers and poets in bygone days) and thus help perpetuate them for future generations … for this we Thank you!

Semi-double blooms of rose-pink. Grey-green foliage. Medium – tall growth. Strong fragrance. Blooms used in the production of Attar of Roses for the perfume industry.
Blooms large, double, quartered, mid-to blush pink in colour, fragrant and charming, producing a stunning display in summer, foliage broad and tough. Can be left to form a mound or grown as a small climber – beautiful in any aspect.
Large light primrose single blooms with amber stamens. Beautiful, very fragrant rambler. 25 ft. Interesting thorns, lush glossy foliage.
