Species and their Hybrids
Part 1
The Rose Family is divided botanically into four sub-genera. The first three sub-genera contain few roses, and are distinguished by thorny hips or seed-cases. Eusosa, the fourth sub-genus is characterised by roses with smooth or relatively smooth hips. Eurosa is divided into ten Sections, each, the founding species of which have differing physical features. The roses following may or may not be in stock at any time, and as far as possible, we try to please. Orders can request particular roses, and if not available at any time, we will advise accordingly. Demand drives our business, and demand is particularly difficult to anticipate.
The following then is a presentation of the roses of The Rose Family, and will be provided over three pages for convenience.
