ALISTER CLARK - A SPORT OF MARJORIE PALMER

This sport appeared on a plant of Marjorie Palmer at Reliable Roses in 1990 (below left). Isolated and grown on, it was given the name "Alister Clark" with the consent of the family, to honour the legacy left by the man through his 132 or more creations in Australia. The rose has been registered with American Rose Society, and his name lives on. Similar in all respects to "Marjorie Palmer" except for the bloom, it is very fragrant, sturdy in growth, has excellent rebloom, and is a rose worthy to carry the name of Australia's most prolific breeder of roses.
